Many thanks to Rebecca McKee and Ben Hardie, of the Davidson College Herpetology Lab, for allowing WOW and some lucky families take a look at the reptiles and amphibians who live there. We had a good look at these interesting animals, many of them native to North Carolina, and were even able to touch them, including the snakes. Lots of great questions were asked, and we think there were a few young, future biologists in the group!
We hope to continue holding this event every winter, so keep posted for next year.
